![]() ![]() With Auto Save function turned on I get an alert that says: "Can't Save There was a problem saving and Auto Save was disabled. I have tried that and it still does not work. If the AutoSave toggle switch is grayed out above the ribbon menu, it means you haven't saved the document for the first time, or the document is not in the OneDrive folder. On the top left of the window, toggle the AutoSave button on. The point is that Word, Excel, and PowerPoint create files in different locations. ![]() ![]() Select your OneDrive on the pop-up window Name your document, then click ‘OK’. This file location doesn't support AutoSave. AutoSave is a new feature available in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for Office 365 subscribers. Please save to a different file in order to keep all of your changes. Excel onedrive autosave not working For me AutoSave is not only counter-productive, it’s downright dangerous.
